PROGRAMME OFFERED: Four (4) Years Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sustainable Tourism Management (Candidates shall offer all subjects in the Department from the First and Second Years and specialise in the Third and Fourth Years). The programme structure will be 1:1:1:1
ADMISSIONS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
WASSE Applicants
Candidates must obtain passes in English, Core Mathematics. Integrated/General Science, and must also pass two Elective Subjects including Geography, Government, History, Elective Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Economics, Government, French, English Literature, Visual Arts subject, Home Economics, Business and Ghanaian Language, with an aggregate of 20 or better at the WASSCE.
“A” Level Applicants
Such candidates must have 5 credits at the GCE “O” Level, including English and Mathematics.
(v) Two (2) GCE “A” Level passes including Geography and any two (2) Subjects from the General Arts, Business, and General Science. Applicants must also obtain a PASS in the General Paper.
Matured and Other Applicants
(x) The basic requirement for admission is 5 credits at the GCE “O” Level, including English, Mathematics and Geography, or passes in English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science, and any three Elective subjects, with an aggregate of 24 or better at the WASSCE.
(xi) Higher National Diploma (HND) Holders, Diploma in Business Administration (DBS) etc.
(xii) Candidates should be at least 25 years at the time of application.
(xiii) Passing a qualifying examination and/or interview conducted by the Faculty which shall form the basis of admission.
